Keith Dorman

Founded Dorman & Associates CC in 1990 when he saw opportunities to improve on financial planning and employee benefit solutions offered at the time, and decided to customise solutions dependent on customer requirements. Keith graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1980. He began his career in the financial services field in July 1988 and qualified as a Certified Financial Planner in 1994.

Nigel Ritchie

Nigel Ritchie began his career in the financial services industry in 2003 when he joined Discovery Consulting Services as a broker consultant. After a brief period in broker consulting, he transitioned to a medical aid specialist role at Discovery Health in January 2004, where he was responsible for delivering technical training to brokers and employer groups. In July 2009, he became a franchise owner for Discovery Group Risk Services, marketing group risk products and solutions to advisors and their employer groups. Nigel qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning in 2016, further enhancing his expertise in the field.

In August 2017, he joined Dorman and Associates CC as a Representative and Key Individual. His extensive knowledge, willingness to help, and personable manner have made him a firm favourite among clients, solidifying his reputation for delivering exceptional customer service.

Steve Carter

Steve Carter graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Economics and Financial Management.

He obtained a post-graduate diploma in financial planning at Free State University and is now registered as a Certified Financial Planner ® at the Financial Planning Institute.

Steve has worked with Keith Dorman at Dorman and Associates for more than two decades and with Nigel Ritchie for over seven years.
